Australia's second-largest fleet management organisation has joined forces with one of the country's foremost salary packaging providers.

Toyota Fleet Management (TFM) and Salpac have entered into a business collaboration aimed at gaining a larger share of the fast-growing market for salary-packaging products and services.

Leveraging the strength of TFM, Salpac will be able to offer its customers a full suite of fleet management products and services from one provider.

"It is with great enthusiasm that Toyota Fleet Management has entered into a business collaboration with Salpac," said TFM's General Manager, Ed Stanistreet.

"We have long been admirers of Salpac's product offerings and high standards of customer service and support. It is our expectation that the alliance will bring out the best in both our companies."

Under the collaboration, certain aspects of Salpac's operations will be transferred to TFM's parent, Toyota Finance Australia Ltd (TFAL), and existing customer contracts with Salpac will be assigned to TFAL.

Customers will continue to deal with the same team at Salpac, while benefitting from the additional staff resources and national coverage provided by TFM's offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

Salpac Managing Director Terry Bunn says the business collaboration is a win-win for both the company and its customers.

"By leveraging the strength of Australia's second-largest fleet management organisation, we can offer our customers end-to-end fleet finance and management services that ideally complement our salary packaging expertise," said Mr Bunn.

"Supported by Toyota Fleet Management's online platform, we'll be able to offer customers greater financial transparency in reporting and a finer cost of package. Working on the same Harvest salary packaging system has made integration seamless."

Mr Stanistreet says that it's rare that two companies have the chance to join together in such synergy.

"We firmly believe that the business collaboration between Salpac and Toyota Fleet Management is mutually beneficial and will result in multiple benefits for both our customers."
