ELLYSE PERRY'S DUAL COMMITMENTS MADE EASIER
Australian champion sportswoman Ellyse Perry's dual cricket and soccer commitments may be easier to juggle in future thanks to her new Toyota Corolla.
Ms Perry, an Australian national representative in both women's cricket and soccer, has become the first ever brand ambassador for Australia's fastest-growing fleet management organisation - Toyota Fleet Management (TFM).
As a part of her ambassadorship, Ms Perry has taken delivery of a fully-maintained Toyota Corolla, which will allow her to attend her various sporting commitments around NSW and the ACT.
A defender for the Canberra United soccer team in the W-League, Ms Perry regularly travels to the Australian capital from her home on Sydney's northern beaches.
Ms Perry said it was important for her to have a safe, reliable vehicle and the Corolla had given her independence and peace of mind.
"Before I became ambassador I was borrowing my Mum and Dad's car, so having my own vehicle has given me the independence I needed," said Ms Perry.
"The Corolla is fantastic, and now having a reliable, comfortable car is a big weight off my mind.
"Comfort is a big thing for me. I can connect up my iPod to the stereo, use Bluetooth™ for my phone and set the cruise control, so my travelling is now a lot more enjoyable than it was."
Toyota Fleet Management's Senior Manager NSW & ACT Sales, Chris Baillie, said Ms Perry's dedication, performance and adaptability were echoed in the TFM ethos, making her the perfect choice as brand ambassador.
"Toyota Fleet Management is dedicated to its customers, drawing on years of expertise in the fleet management and finance field to supply superior quality, adaptable and flexible fleet management solutions," said Mr Baillie.
"Ellyse Perry is the perfect person to become our first brand ambassador. It takes an especially talented person to represent Australia at sport's highest levels, but Ellyse's dedication and commitment have seen her excel twice over.
"Toyota Fleet Management couldn't be prouder to be associated with a champion such as Ellyse."
Ellyse Perry made her debut for both the Australian cricket and soccer teams at the age of 16 in 2007.
She is the youngest person, male or female, to represent Australia in cricket and the first Australian woman to have appeared in both cricket and football World Cup tournaments.
